DIRECT SALES (WITH MLM ) DOMINATES

WORLD BUSINESS EVEN IN DOWNTURNS

Economy Bad? Recession? MLM Booms!
By Rod Cook

Aug 20 2002 PLUS 13 NOV 2008 UPDATE: Recession 2002 = A brand new study by Thomas Register is sending shock waves through the marketing world. Direct Sales including MLM and Network Marketing dominated the entire World business market for business growth models. With MLM plans sweeping insurance companies, real estate and mortgage this year we can expect a tremendous growth in the total sales volumes for MLM companies. However don't expect all the MLM models you are used to being the only models in this new model of marketing domination.

In times of economic stress companies are getting out of their traditional advertising mode because of the high cost and confusing array of advertising channels. Direct Sales by human beings with personal contact can be expected to continue to increase because of "channel confusion" in media and print advertising. In the past few years MLM has become a more dominant element of any direct sales plans to include real estate and mortgage brokerage. Businesses are finding that to drive teamwork sales and retaining top sales people a residual income based on variations of MLM pay plans are necessary.

Hi Kathy,

Hope all is well with you. I just recently joined american freedom. Well thought out site, great presentation. I'd like to hear more about what you do. My business is actually thriving in spite of the economic challenges. Coincidentally, I just expanded to California and we're looking for additional distributors as well. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Mike Shaw
