This is a good counter balance story to the Jane Fonda " Vietnam " Woman Of The Year story I have received many times in my e-mail.

Ann
Margret

Viet
Nam 1966

Richard, (my husband), never really talked a lot about his time in Viet
Nam other than he had b een shot by
a sniper. However, he had a rather grainy, 8 x 10 black and white
photo he had taken at a USO show of Ann Margret with Bob Hope in the
background that was one of his treasures.

A few years ago, Ann Margret was doing a book si… Continue

Magic

Ever been in a forest or an area that moves you? I had a walk in Southern Indiana in Ferdinand State Forrest and I was enchanted... "Centuries old trees covered with mossy hair, shared their stories with me. Felled trees lying on their back beckoned me to sit and rest awhile. Sunlight glistened through the entangles underbrush. My Heros

We wait with hope and prayers as each day passes; not knowing what his thoughts and needs are but hoping that he is as well as he can possibly be and that comforts beyond measure sorround him. We wish the same for ALL the men and women giving of theirselves and sacrificing time with loved ones and their own dreams to make sure American… Continue

Together

.......A time of change
to rearrange
our hopes and dreams,
do what God deems
to live so true,
with much virtue
integrity
senserity
and love and give
with clarity.
Diversity;
a patchwork nation
a celebration
of what can be.
We are free!
Free to believe
and achieve
real unity!
No isolation,
separation.
One purpose now
love to allow
for every man
As one we stand.
